Stewardship Tools >

Our goal is to transform lives for Christ, not only in the ministries that receive training and grants, but for you the donor as well. We want to enable you to become a more effective steward, to grow stronger spiritually, and to impact more lives as you serve in God’s kingdom. While our foundation process and resources are available to our partner donors to empower them to make great gifts and to know that their giving is strategic and helping recipients grow stronger, we want to help all of God's people maximize the effectiveness of their giving.

Regardless of whether or not you choose to partner with Mission Increase Foundation, we hope you will use these stewardship tools to transform how you give.

Scriptural Principles of Giving

Transformational Giving is about the heart of the donor. The Bible offers some great perspectives on giving and what our heart attitudes should be. Check here for a more in-depth look at the spiritual principles involved in giving.

Giving Survey

This giving survey can help you process through your own giving values and interests. We hope that as you use this survey, you will know and understand your giving passions better, and you will gain a greater understanding of God’s design for you and your giving. It is God who gave you wealth. This survey is just the starting point to help you link your God-given passions and your giving, and to fully experience great giving.

This giving survey is divided into four parts:

  • Part one is a Personal Giving Interest Checklist to help you define what ministries or what type of ministries you like to serve financially.
  • Parts two and three deal with Geographical Giving Interests and Types of Giving. Perhaps you prefer to give to missions in a specific country, or you might like to give to special projects. These sections help to define specific giving interests.
  • Part four consists of questions to help you put your Giving Passions on paper, and to help you hear what God may be calling you to do.

If you are married, we strongly suggest you discuss these with your spouse and record your combined answers. It is normal to discover you have unique interests and values. This provides a great tool to discuss deeper issues of life and things that have true eternal value.

Our desire and prayer is that this survey will be a useful tool to help you become a greater steward and find greater joy and meaning in all your giving. It is truly better to give.
